Everybody needs to believe something.
Some people believe in religion, some in college getting them a good job, and others in the necessity of preventing the union of gay people. Some people believe in war, and others peace.
Most believe that they are on the right track, that they’re moving forward, and that nobody understands them. Most believe that they can’t do the things they wish they could do.
Everybody believes that they are right when they form an opinion.
You can’t change a person’s need to believe, nor can you make them quit believing. You can, however, give them something else to believe in.
